The design explores opportunities for place-making that not only serve within the site but also fosters collaboration within a vibrant and well networked community.

Our goal was to create a building that is harmonious in its design, structure, and use of materials, as well as with the location, the environment, and the socio-cultural context.

The building has a open plan with a central courtyard as focal point for interactions and circulation.Planning of internal spaces is such that every two adjacent space share a courtyard.These are green pockets which act as breakout space and also are junctions for interactions.

Each courtyard serves different functions.

A prototype is derived to bring the project together.Only through the smaller courtyard one enters into a space ,designed so as to cater to human comforts .The design plays with simple architecture principles like light,ventilation,ratio,colour and texture.

Design emphasizes on function which is followed by form.It is achieved to make the community center merge with the village background and also to have its own identity and representation .
